"I am from Austria, from the area of beautiful Lake Constance. Always I (1991) wanted to join the life on a huskyfarm, that`s why I made my dream come true from April 21 on. I was part of the team until early summer 22. After a summer season back home in Austria I came back to Eräkeskus for another season as Allrounder and Guide from December 22 to May 23. And now after another short break I am back for my third stay at Eräkeskus and look foreward to the soon starting autumn training and a great winter with guests and dogs."

Moritz is a trained electrician, some years ago he was with the armed forces from austria on deployments abroad. Welcome back in the team for the next season!

We, Gabriel (1989) and Petra (1991), are a couple from beautiful Tyrol and go through life together since 2007. Besides working as machine engineer and logistician, our first sleddog, a Siberian Husky, joined us in 2009. After having worked for 6 months in Alaska in 2014, we started building our own team and knew, that our hearts are beating for the beautiful North. 

By now we have 6 Alaskan Malamutes and 2 Sibirian Huskies and we moved to Eräkeskus to support the team with all we can and love to do, to get our dream come true.

My name is Helena and I was born 1999 in Palatinate, Germany. During my studies in the field of tourism, I got the idea of working on a husky farm as a mandatory internship. Thanks to this I ended up working on Husky farms in Finland and Norway during the last two winter seasons. As I got closer to finish my studies I decided to search for a small kennel with the possibility to stay for longer than just one season.

I am Stefan (1986) from Rostock/Germany. Since many years I am fascinated by dogs and learned, that working with them is a deeply satisfying job. After my education at the animal shelter in Lubeck I was here at Eräkeskus the first time in winter 2013/14 and the sleddog-virus did not leave since then. Together with my own dogs Levi & Zuri I am now part of the team since January 2023. 

My name is Sarah (2003), I was born and raised in Switzerland and completed my training as a pharmaceutical-assistant EFZ after finishing compulsory school. In search of personal growth, I ventured to Finland to leave my personal comfort zone. The decision to take on new challenges demonstrates my desire for self-development and fulfilment. I am looking forward to a great time here.

My name is Wanda (1996) and I come from St.Gallen in beautiful Switzerland. After a vacation trip to Norway in winter 2020, I really wanted to travel to the north again. After the fjords and mountains in Norway, I now wanted to visit Finland's lakes and forests. At the same time, I wanted to gain new knowledge and experience a lot. I've always been fascinated by dogs, but unfortunately I've never had a dog of my own. So a husky farm was quickly chosen as my next destination.

Instead of another vacation, I have now decided to volunteer at Eräkeskus from January to April 2023 and am looking forward to an exciting and instructive time with the guests, the dogs and the team.

I am Michi, 31 years old and since April 24 part of the Eräkeskus-Team. The years before I worked as cook in Switzerland and organised concerts/festivals during my freetime. I look forward to learn new things, gain many new experiences and stand one or another new challenge. And I am lucky to get the chance here to live one of my dreams and get the possibility to step into this new, for me so far unknown world.
